- Line Cook: Individual will plate dishes and complete basic food prepping tasks for the restaurant. Main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked.
- Duties Include:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning, cutting the ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
- Plating prepared foods based on Chef’s guidance
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen, cooking with utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Prep Cook: Individual is responsible for providing a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients. Duties include organizing and labeling food items in storage closets, performing tasks like chopping ingredients and sanitizing their workstation during and after service.
- Duties Include:
- Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or other kitchen manager
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves
- Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables and meats
- Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
- Parboiling food, reducing sauces and starting first steps in various dishes
- Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen
- Adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
- Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply
- Bartender: Individual will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing, and serving beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils. - Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails

- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Server: Individual will attend to diners in a restaurant during a meal, helping them place their order and making sure they get their food and beverages in a timely manner. They greet diners and engage in friendly conversation with them to cultivate a hospitable, welcoming environment.
- Duties Include:
- Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
- Taking customers’ food and drink orders
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
- Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
- Host: Individual is responsible for welcoming customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and accepting phone calls.
- Duties Include:
- Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
- Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
- Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
- Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
- Answering phones and scheduling reservations
- Busser/Dishwasher: Individual oversees the setting and clearing tables at a dining establishment to provide a clean and tidy environment for restaurant patrons. Their duties include removing used dishes, re-setting silverware and filling beverages for diners. Individual will be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry.
- Duties Include:
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables
- Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
- Refilling drinking glasses with water
- Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
- Prep work
- Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area
- Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
- Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine
- Dock Hand: Individual is charged with maintaining the facilities and grounds for a boat dock. Responsibilities are to load and unload boats and other marine vehicles, assisting passengers/customers off and on dock, and perform any other duties necessary for operating a dock.
- Duties Include:
- Assist boaters to appropriate location on dock to park their boat
- Drive small boat to offload customers located at moorings
- Maintain cleanliness of dock space
- Deliver food and beverages to waiting customers on boats
- Maintain communication with boaters via radio/cell phone
- Assist in maintaining in working order the company boat(s)
- Front Desk: Individual will check guests in and out of their rooms and ensures customers have a satisfying and enjoyable stay. Their main duties include distributing room keys, verifying customers’ room registration information, and calculating guests’ room payments and other additional costs made during their stay.
- Duties Include:
- Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations
- Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the Inn’s amenities
- Take payment from customers
- Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
- Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
- Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet Inn’s standards and accommodate any special guests needs
- Arrange specialized services for VIP customers
- Housekeeper: Individual is responsible for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, making beds, and dusting surfaces throughout the Inn or other buildings.
- Duties Include:
- Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions, and privacy issues
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out
- Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
- Report cases of property damage to supervisor
- Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
