Via Ferry (Fastest ~ :45 minutes)

  1. Take I-87 N → Exit 39.
  2. Follow NY-314 / Commodore Thomas Macdonough Hwy to the Cumberland Head Ferry.
  3. Ferry to Grand Isle, VT (fee).
  4. VT-314 → U.S. Route 2 W.
  5. Right on Shore Acres Drive at Shore Acres Inn.

No Ferry (Longer Route ~ 1½ hrs)

  1. Stay on I-87 N to the last exit before Canada (Rouses Point / U.S. 9).
  2. Route 11 → U.S. 9 → Route 2 into Vermont.
  3. Route 2 E to Shore Acres Inn.
  4. Left on Shore Acres Drive.
  1. Exit airport onto Romeo Vachon Blvd N.
  2. Follow signs for Autoroute 20 East, keep left.
  3. Take Exit 63 toward Mercier Bridge / Route 138.
  4. Cross the Mercier Bridge, keep left, then merge onto Autoroute 730.
  5. Take Exit 1 to Autoroute 30 toward Sorel / Tracy.
  6. Take Exit 55 to Autoroute 15 South toward New York / I-87 (about 30 minutes).
  7. Take Exit 1 (Montée Guay / Montée Glass), follow signs to the Rouses Point border.
  8. After the border, turn left onto Route 2 and cross into Vermont.
  9. Stay on Route 2 for about 30 minutes.
  10. Turn left onto Shore Acres Drive at Shore Acres Inn.

Total travel time: approximately 2–2½ hours (excluding border wait).

Border Hours Notice
The Rouses Point border crossing is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
If closed, continue to the Champlain crossing.

  1. Stay on Autoroute 15 South to the Champlain border.
  2. After the border, take the first exit toward Vermont.
  3. At the roundabout, stay left onto Route 11.
  4. Turn left onto Route 9 in Rouses Point.
  5. Turn right onto Route 2 into Vermont.
  6. Follow Route 2 for about 30 minutes.
  7. Turn left onto Shore Acres Drive.
  1. Quittez l’aéroport par boulevard Romeo Vachon Nord.
  2. Suivez les indications pour Autoroute 20 Est, restez à gauche.
  3. Prenez la sortie 63 vers pont Mercier / route 138.
  4. Traversez le pont Mercier, puis prenez Autoroute 730.
  5. Prenez la sortie 1 vers Autoroute 30 en direction de Sorel / Tracy.
  6. Prenez la sortie 55 vers Autoroute 15 Sud en direction de New York / I-87 (environ 30 minutes).
  7. Prenez la sortie 1 (Montée Guay / Montée Glass) vers la frontière de Rouses Point.
  8. Après la frontière, tournez à gauche sur la route 2 et entrez au Vermont.
  9. Suivez la route 2 pendant environ 30 minutes.
  10. Tournez à gauche sur Shore Acres Drive au Shore Acres Inn.

Durée totale approximative : 2 à 2½ heures (sans attente à la frontière).

Important – Heures de la frontière
Le poste frontalier de Rouses Point est ouvert de 8 h à 20 h.
S’il est fermé, continuez jusqu’au poste de Champlain.

  1. Restez sur Autoroute 15 Sud jusqu’à la frontière de Champlain.
  2. Après la frontière, prenez la première sortie vers le Vermont.
  3. Au rond-point, restez à gauche sur la route 11.
  4. Tournez à gauche sur la route 9 à Rouses Point.
  5. Tournez à droite sur la route 2 vers le Vermont.
  6. Suivez la route 2 pendant environ 30 minutes.
  7. Tournez à gauche sur Shore Acres Drive.
